1. Classic French Toast for Kids:

Things you will need:

  • Bread slices
  • Egg
  • Milk

How to Make French Toast:

  • Take a large bowl and whisk 1 egg with 1/4th cup milk and let it combine well.
  • Pre-heat the frying non-stick pan at a medium flame or heat.
  • Dip bread slices into the egg wash completely such that it is coated with the layer of egg wash on both sides and put onto the fry pan immediately. Repeat the procedure with 2 more bread slices to dip and use the egg wash completely.
  • Flip the bread and let it cook for 2-3 minutes to turn golden brown both sides.
  • Cook a bit longer in case the bread is still sticking to the pan.
  • Serve it plain or add butter and whipped cream.

Tips:

  • Add vanilla for a different taste.

  • Bread slices
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Stuffing
  • Knife

Procedure for a Stuffing French Toast:

  • Cut the bread loaf into slices with a knife of minimum thickness of 1-1.5 inches each.
  • With the same knife, slit the bread from the center only through up til the middle of the bread. Cut only halfway and not through it completely. You have to make a pouch type for stuffing.
  • Add the stuffing into the bread slit neatly. And toast it as the procedure in a normal french toast as mentioned above.
